MSSN LSAU EXPANDS AS NEW AREA COUNCILS EMERGE

The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria, Lagos State Area Unit, has expanded its structure from the initial 18 Area Councils to 43 Area Councils.
The expansion is in line with our mission and vision statement to generate quality and adequate manpower for Islam and also to engender the birth of a new society through regular programmes and continuous training of manpower.
It is also to align with the political structure of Lagos State at the local level i.e. the 57 Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas.
Already, caretaker committees have been set up to oversee the affairs of the new Area Councils.

The newly created area councils are as follows:
NEW AREA COUNCILS
Agbado/Oke-Odo, Agboyi-Ketu, Ajeromi, Amuwo-Odofin, Apapa, Ayobo/Ipaja, Bariga, Coker-Aguda, Ejigbo, Eredo, Eti-Osa, Iba, Ifelodun, Igando/Ikotun, Igbogbo/Bayeku, Ijede, Ikorodu North, Ikorodu West,
Ikosi-Isheri, Itire/Ikate, Odi-Olowo, Ogijo, Ojokoro, Olorunda, Orile-Agege, Otto Ijaniki, Yaba.

OLD AREA COUNCILS
Imota, Agege, Alimosho, Badagry, Ebute Metta, Epe, Ifako-Ijaiye, Iganmu, Ikeja, Ikorodu, Isolo, Kosofe, Lagos Mainland, Mushin, Ojo, Oshodi, Shomolu, Surulere

***Please note that Ebute-Metta Area Council metamorphosed to Yaba Area Council while Iganmu Area Council metamorphosed into Coker-Aguda.
