On weekly basis, the Area council provides an avenue for its members to develop morally, spiritually and socially and at the same time learn salient subjects about their religion. It usually comes up on Fridays between 4.30pm and 7.00pm at Olorunsogo Mosque Itunmaja, Ikorodu. In the same vein, separate Usrah hold on 3rd Friday of Lunar month for brothers and sisters to address issue peculiar to their gender.
This is a forum where brothers are encouraged to be morally sound, physically fit and mentally alert. It comes up every fortnight Saturday, between 6.30a.m and 8.30a.m at Government Technical College Ikorodu.
This is a programme designed for sisters to enlighten them on Islamic and contemporary issues. Also to help them acquire vocational trainings and home management skills. It comes up every 3rd Saturday of the Lunar month between 10.00am and 2.00pm at Shamseldeen central mosque Etunrenren Ikorodu.
This is aimed at bringing members together to inculcate in them the Islamic moral and develop them spiritual. It usually comes up during 2nd and 3rd Mid Term of the academic year.
The programme is meant to help members of the society acquire leadership skills. It comes up three times in a year.
This is to enlighten and encourage Muslim students on how to coordinate the assembly at their various schools. It comes up on quarterly basis.
This is a programme designed to create awareness about the Islamic New Year.
The Youth conference is aimed at enlightening and equips Muslim youth with leadership skills. It comes up on 27th May of every year.
This is a week-long programme, which is aimed at propagating Islam to Muslim and Non-Muslims alike. It comes up in the month of Sha’ban of the Islamic year
The Area Council normally embarks on familiarization visits to the society’s well wishers in a bid to maximize the blessings of Ramadhan. In the same vein, I’tikaf is held in the last 10 days of Ramadan
The Council normally embarks on courtesy calls. During these calls, the Council’s representatives visit personalities and dignitaries and acquaint them with its programmes and activities.
This is a prayer session during which assistance and supports of Allah is sought for examination candidates.
The programme is focused on contemporary challenges facing Muslim sisters, with the ultimate aim of proffering appropriate contemporary solution to them.
The extra mural classes of the Council with the name STEPPING STONE EDUCATIONAL CENTER holds classes for student in JSS, SSS, GCE, PCE and UME from Monday to Thursday between 4.15pm and 7.00p.m and on Fridays between 2.30pm and 4.00pm.
This forum is meant for the Patrons of the Council to enhance their interaction, unanimously discuss the problems of the Council and contribute to the progress of the society at this level. This forum is scheduled to hold three times in the year on May 1st, October 1st and January 1st.
This is a vibrant organ of the Council comprising brothers and sisters who represent the Council at the secondary school branches. The force members guide the students, direct their affairs and serve as the strong link between the Council and the branches. The force meets fortnightly at Shamsideen Central Mosque Etunrenren Ikorodu.
The class is meant for members to learn and be able to speak Arabic fluently. The citadel of learning holds classes between 6.00pm and 8.00pm from Monday to Thursday at Shamsideen Central Mosque Etunrenren Ikorodu.
